My Journey

I've had quite and adventure and I'm sure there will be much more ups and downs and I continue on through this journey. Here I wanted to chronicle my journey:

• September 2006 - Move from home into the dorms
• August 2007 - Moved into my first condo with a friend
• July 2008 - Moved into an apartment with 4 friends
• August 2009 - Moved into a condo with a friend
• May 2010 - Graduated from college and moved back in with my parents
• January 2011 - Landed my first grown-up job!
• February 2011 - The house hunt begins!
• June 13, 2011 - Meeting with Jerry to narrow down my search
• July 22, 2011 - House Showing -- not a match
• August 29, 2011 - House Showing -- not a match
• August 30, 2011 - House Showing -- not a match
• October 29, 2011 - Homebuyer Education Seminar - New Homeowner Counseling (part 1)
• November 1, 2011 - New Homeowner Counseling (part 2)
• April 2, 2012 - House Showing -- not a match
• May 11, 2012 - House Showing -- not a match
• May 22, 2012 - House Showing -- loved this cape cod!
• May 23, 2012 - Put an offer in on the cape code but it went to a bidding war and I lost
• August 28, 2012 - House Showing -- not a match
• October 23, 2012 - House Showing -- a fixer-upper owned by contractor willing to do custom work
• October 30, 2012 - Met with fixer-upper owner/contractor to go over updates to the house
• November 9, 2012 - Offer on fixer-upper
• November 11, 2012 - Counter-offer on fixer-upper
• November 12, 2012 - Two offers accepted. My housing dilemma.
• November 14, 2012 - Decision Made!
• February 8, 2013 - The restoration is complete and I closed on the house!
